About Alex Greyson
I write dark romantic suspense about morally grey men, dangerous devotion, and love that thrives in the shadows. My stories blend high stakes with emotional intimacy, exploring the kind of connections that test limits, blur boundaries, and refuse to be ignored.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, but I’ve spent the last four years dedicated to fiction, with two short stories published along the way. Before focusing on dark romance, I explored crime and procedural stories - shaped in part by years spent teaching literacy in prisons and young offender institutions. That experience deepened my interest in the choices people make, the secrets they carry, and the lengths they go to for loyalty, survival, or love.
When I’m not writing, I divide my life between the UK and southwest France with my husband of thirty-five years, a retired military pilot, and our golden cocker spaniel. With our daughters now grown, I spend as much time as possible travelling, people-watching, and collecting the small details and overheard conversations that inevitably spark new characters and new stories.
I’m also an Emerging Author Member of the Crime Writers’ Association (CWA)
